Hive logs has metrics errors

Question asked by ramdhanyk on Aug 28, 2015
Hi,

We have MapR 3.1.1 and Hive 0.13 running on EC2 instances on AWS. Yes, we are not running Mapr-EMR as Hive 0.13 is not supported on MapR 3.1.1 on MapR-EMR. This is a requirement for us.

When we run queries using JDBC / Hiveserver2, we are getting the below errors related to metrics server. We installed metrics server and errors did not go away. We then removed metrics server and the errors persisted. As these are "INFO" messages, we would like to simply stop logging them. Can you please give me direction on how to stop this logging?
