Install Hue on Edgenode

My MapR cluster is running MapR-4.1, Hive-1.0, and Hue-3.7. I installed hue on Hive node, everything works well. Since hive node is pretty busy, so I want to move off Hue and run it on an edgenode. Edgenode   has same configuration hue.ini as the one on Hive node both using hive_server_host=. But somehow edge node faced an issue when checking the configuration:

Configuration files located in /opt/mapr/hue/hue-3.7.0/desktop/conf
Potential misconfiguration detected. Fix and restart Hue.
Hive Editor The application won't work without a running HiveServer2.

Weird enough, HiveServer2 is running and Hue works on Hive node. But why does Hue not work the edge node? There is no firewall, no secure, and edge node can reach HiveServer2 port 10000. No error in logs.

 1. Does hue work on Hive node ONLY?
 2. Does someone run Hue on edgenode successfully?
