I would like to use the Docker Container Executor feature first included in Map Reduce 2.6.0. It appears the most recent version supported is currently 2.5.1. Any timeline for availability of the Docker Container Executor feature in MapR?

A couple of important things to note.
Can you tell us more about your use case and motivations to use this feature?
The Docker Container Executor Function in 2.6 was deemed beta broadly by the community and infact the basic implementation is undergoing a complete change. Instead of using only a Docker container, the system is going to be built out to be generic so that it can use other containers besides Docker.
Having said that, MapR is within days of shipping a new MapR 5.0 release and we are upgrading to Hadoop 2.7 including some handpicked fixes from Hadoop 2.7.1
In our 5.0 release - the experimental docker container executor functions are there, but are not officially supported for production use.
