javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: No LoginModules configured for hadoop_simple

I'm getting the exception below trying to run a Spark client application.

The answer in a [similar question][1] was to pass `"-Djava.security.auth.login.config=/opt/mapr/conf/mapr.login.conf"`
but this did not work.

I am using MapR 4.1, Spark 1.3.1.

    Caused by: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: No LoginModules configured for hadoop_simple
