permission to filesystem with no ticket

Question asked by mushon on Feb 5, 2015

I am not hadoop/kerberos expert but while setting the enviorment.

when running "hadoop fs -ls /" for the first time (after stating the mapdemo vm) I getting the credenials error.

I am doing kinit and reciving a ticket then "hadoop fs -ls /" is working just fine.

after kdestoy I am able to run "hadoop fs -ls /" with no problem. so I dont have a ticket but still can manipulate the maprfs.

is it because I dont have kerberos principal to maprfs. I only create prinicipal for the cldb
