Hello,
**my /conf/db.conf**

> db.user=maprmetrics db.passwd=mapr
> db.schema=metrics db.mode=mysql
> db.driverclass=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
> db.joblastacessed.limit.hours=48
> db.partition.finest.count.days=3
> db.partition.fine.count.days=15
> db.partition.coarse.count.years=100
> ### How many files with raw node metrics data to keep
> metric.file.rotate=365

**and my table size for metrics database:**

> +-----------------------------------+------------+--------------+--------------+------------+ | TABLE_NAME                        |
> table_rows | data_length  |
> index_length | Size in MB |
> +-----------------------------------+------------+--------------+--------------+------------+ | METRIC_TRANSACTION                |
> 1561501823 | 129141839092 |
> 33233050624 |  154852.76 |

I have jobs created there as earlier as 1 year ago but when I look in the documentation of mapr i see that this table should not hold data more then 3 days:

> "METRIC_TRANSACTION: Data is written
> every 10 seconds and partitioned by
> day. This table retains up to three
> days of data."

can someone help me in finding out how to either purge this data without breaking metrics or configure mapr hoststats that cleans the table to a 3 days worth before I my partition size maxes out.

Thank you and any help is is appreciated,

sincerely,

Oleg
