CLDB shutting down in VM

cldb services shutting down with a below message.

 Error in cldb.log 2014-12-11 03:52:55,872 FATAL CLDB [WaitForLocalKvstore Thread]: CLDBShutdown: CLDB had master lock and was waiting for its local mfs to become Master.Waited for 7 $$ (minutes) but mfs did not become Master. Shutting down CLDB to release master lock.

I ran the service mapr-mfs status command.

I got the below error message. /opt/mapr/server/initscripts-common.sh: line 15: [: mapr: unary operator expected Failed to modify mapr-mfs as user "" because /tmp/launching-mapr-mfs.lck exists and/or is owned by "mapr". Exiting 8028 I manually tried to remove the file. but i am not able to find the launching-mapr-mfs.lck in the /tmp folder.

OS Information Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-32-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 15 03:51:08 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Please let me know how to proceed.
