Sqoop2 server throws ClassNotFoundException

I am having trouble executing Sqoop2 jobs on our MapR cluster. The cluster is running MapR 3.1.0, with Sqoop2 version Sqoop 1.99.3-mapr-1405. The Sqoop server logs the following error whenever i try:

It looks like the json jar is missing on the classpath, but since i haven't changed anything in the sqoop settings, i do not understand why this doesn't work out of the box. Any ideas?
