MapRFileSystem spoofing

I am using user spoofing, as described here: http://doc.mapr.com/display/MapR/Setting+Up+the+Client#SettingUptheClient-windows-client. My client is Windows, and I'm using MapR version 3.1.0.23703GA.

I think the user spoofing is working correctly, since files are created with expected user/group. However, when I call MapRFileSystem.getWorkingDirectory(), I get /user/root, instead of the home directory of user /user/myuser.

Is this expected? If not, is there something I should try to see if my user is mis-configured? Is there a way to configure the working directory?

Thanks!
