mfs taking up more ram in some machines but not others

Hello.

I am confused as to why the mfs process in 3 machines is taking up 3GB of ram whereas
in the other 6 servers it is taking up around 650MB.. This is a ram snapshot after a
reboot of the servers. MapR 3.0.2 on Centos 6.4.
