Servers lost partitions, data in tact UUIDs

Lo All,
We encountered an interesting bug that I believe is related to our hardware and as a result, partition tables became corrupted.  I can restore the partitions, and I have the UUIDs, however, I have checked on many of our working nodes, and the UUID does not seem to be set via blkid.  When mapr initializes disks, what way does it use to set the UUID so that I can reconstruct these partitions and data segments without losing the data within?  Normally I would do a blkid /dev/dev -U blk-id-goes-here, but that does not seem to work on the MAPR partitions.

Thanks,

Outcomes
