MAPR jar files gives "SOURCE NOT FOUND" even for hadoop-0.20.2 jars

Question asked by satyajit on Oct 27, 2013
Hi ,

i have downloaded the mapr-m3 vm from the MAPR site and trying to run a mapreduce program which has already been built and written on mapr.

i was trying to debug the code but unfortunately when ever i try to dig into the HADOOP API using the jar files provided with the VM , i dont get the source code instead i get "SOURCE NOT FOUND".The same happens even though i attach the source folder in /opt/mapr/lib or /opt/mapr/hadoop/hadoop-0.20.2/lib.

Please help.

Thanks and regards,
