Hello,

I'm beginner in the hadoop world, and more specifically in Hive (I work on hive-0.9.0 on Ubuntu).
I want populating a single-row table :

    ~$ echo 'X' > /tmp/dummy.txt
    ~$ hive -e "create table dummy (value string);
    > load data local inpath '/tmp/dummy.txt'
    > overwrite into table dummy"

    Logging initialized using configuration in jar:file:/opt/mapr/hive/hive-0.9.0/lib/hive-common-0.9.0.jar!/hive-log4j.properties
    Hive history file=/tmp/mapr/hive_job_log_mapr_201305060031_1988692900.txt
    OK
    Time taken: 6.315 seconds
    Copying data from file:/tmp/dummy.txt
    Copying file: file:/tmp/dummy.txt
    Loading data to table default.dummy
    Deleted maprfs:/user/hive/warehouse/dummy
    Failed with exception Cannot rename across volumes
    FAILED: Execution Error, return code 1 from org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.MoveTask

I don't understand the issue of my query.
Thanks for your help.
