Job Metrics and Host Stats - Empty Data

I am trying to setup Job Metrics.  From the Mapr UI I can access the Jobs page (under Navigation > Cluster) no problem, however it is showing No Records. The MySQL data is empty, so appears the problem is elsewhere, that it isn't being populated. So my problem seems to be early on.

A couple things I noted in adminuiapp.log
 1. Looks like it is trying to find a folder March.19.2013, which doesn't exist (and would be really old?), under /var/mapr/metrics/  (Today is April 5th).  also not /var/mapr/metrics folder didn't even exist, I added that manually just today.
 2. Also seeing pam errors
