HBase Security & Hadoop Security features in MapR distros

Hello,

As far as I understand, since MapR Hadoop distros (all of them?) based on Hadoop 0.20.2 version there's no standard security features in it which where added in 0.20.203. Is that correct? Or was it patched?

Could you please point to any resources where I can read up on Hadoop security features that MapR distros provide?

Also, if I understand correctly, HBase Security (CPs based, in 0.92+) relies on Hadoop (HDFS) and Zookeeper to support it as well. Not sure about Zookeeper (couldn't find in release notes the version that is included in MapR distros), but it looks like support for HBase Security also depends on the answer to the question above. Or may be MapR FS provides security mechanisms that can be used by HBase (when using it instead of HDFS)?

Again, please share any pointers to resources wrt to HBase Security in MapR distros, if there's any.

Thank you in advance for your responses

Alex
