I have installed MapR cluster with on 3 nodes. Everything is working fine on those three nodes. I can also submit MR jobs from these three machines.

I have then installed MapR client on my development box. I can see the dfs content using 'hadoop fs' command but I am not able to submit MR jobs.

I have verified that jobtacker is running and I can telent to 172.28.nnn.nn:9001. This seems to be more on client error instead of connection error.
