I'm an undergraduate and want to make a test for the shuffle process on MapR and Hadoop to verify "the optimized shuffle" introduced in MapR's features. But the advantage of NFS over HDFS prevent me from accurately seeing how the shuffle process is optimized.
So I would like to ask is if I can use HDFS instead of NFS on MapR, if possble, what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
