i read three interesting options:
1) Data stored in Hadoop is accessed or extracted to add context to existing database or BI tools.
Question: i don't understand what is a typical first step for making unstructured data meaningful to BI systems...

2) An architecture that utilizes Hadoop as the data warehouse staging area. This seems the most common use of Hadoop for BI.
A variation on this is to use Hadoop as isolated repository, a sandbox,  to play with the data without changing it at its source.
Question: what are the tools to play with hadoop data?

3) An architecture that uses Hadoop for your entire data warehouse.

Which path to take? Hadoop can replace the Datawahouse?
What are the tools to provide the BI?

What do you think? What is your picture?
