I want to check if Mapr client can do user impersonation in linux, for example I configure MapR client on linux box with root and when I launch the jobs I set the user in jobConf as follows

job.setUser("xyz");

Now will the job be launched as xyz assuming root can impersonate the user.

This is a follows question from thread as that is on windows.
