admin/user node not part of the cluster?

Hi,

Our operations team has asked if there is a way to launch our hadoop jobs from an 'admin' node, which is not directly part of the cluster. They've build a 4 node M3 cluster and want to add a fifth box that is where users login and submit jobs, and where our automated scripts are launched from. This admin machine will be much less CPU/memory/disks as the cluster nodes so they don't want to run any services on it.

Is there a minimum configuration we can run to support this or is running jobs directly on the cluster the only way to do it?

Thanks,

Chris
