"ERROR (10009) -  Couldn't connect to the CLDB service" on new install

I've been trying to install MapR M5 on a RHEL6 cluster following the steps listed (http://www.mapr.com/doc/display/MapR/M5+-+RHEL+or+CentOS).

But when I get to step 10, cli spits out the error.

warden.log and cldb.log don't have any errors that stand out, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking at.
