How to modify NODE ID (hostid)

Hello,

I am setting up a test cluster built of 4 nodes under vmware. The nodes are called beaker-vm# (where # is 0..3). Nodes -vm1, -vm2, and -vm3 run same services and are identical. I configured one of them, then cloned it, and adjusted networking (mac id & hostname) to make them unique for the HDCP purposes.

**Now, when I try to add them to the cluster (by starting mapr-warden), ONLY the node that is started LAST shows up as part of the cluster**. For example:

----
a) nodes -VM0 and -VM1 are present:
[root@beaker-vm0 ~]# maprcli node list -filter "[rp==/*]" -columns id
  id                   hostname                            ip
  256248548654218622   beaker-vm0.internal.xtremedata.com  10.10.0.248
  **3645758905615758073**  beaker-vm1.internal.xtremedata.com  10.10.0.122

----
b) restating node -VM2 [root@beaker-vm2 ~]# /etc/init.d/mapr-warden restart

----
c) now, nodes -VM1 and -VM2 are present (node -VM1 is out):
  [root@beaker-vm0 ~]# maprcli node list -filter "[rp==/*]" -columns id,hn,svc
  id                   hostname                            ip
  256248548654218622   beaker-vm0.internal.xtremedata.com  10.10.0.248
  **3645758905615758073**  beaker-vm2.internal.xtremedata.com  10.10.0.221

----
**I noticed that NODE ID's of the cloned nodes ARE IDENTICAL (3645758905615758073).**
I am guessing this is the cause of the problem.

**Question: How do I "manually" adjust the node ID? When/how is it generated?**

Appreciate any help, thanks,
Marek
