mapr-client/mapr-hive package problem

I'm trying to configure a non-mapr-cluster node to serve as a hive client to my mapr cluster.  I installed mapr-client, which worked fine and I was able to run the configure script and test the client successfully.  Then I tried to install mapr-hive and the install fails with:

`Unpacking mapr-core (from .../mapr-core_1.1.3.11542GA-1_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/mapr-core_1.1.3.11542GA-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/opt/mapr/NOTICE.txt', which is also in package mapr-client 0:1.1.3.11542GA-1
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/mapr-core_1.1.3.11542GA-1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)`

Any ideas on a workaround?  I tried deleting the NOTCIE .txt file, but that didn't help.

Thanks.
