Hi,
This is the OS I use:

    # uname -a
    Linux us01.ciq.com 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 17:52:25 EST 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I followed http://mapr.com/doc/display/MapR/Single+Node+-+RHEL+or+CentOS

I got the following:

    # /opt/mapr/server/disksetup -F /tmp/disks.txt
    2011-08-02 22:20:24,7781 ERROR Global fs/server/util/mrconfig.cc:2062 clnt x.x.0.0:0 req 0 seq 0 InitDisk failed Device or resource busy.(16).
    InitDisk /dev/md3
    InitDisk resp: status 16
Disk init /dev/md3 failed. Error 16, Device or resource busy.
    # /etc/init.d/mapr-zookeeper start
    JMX enabled by default
    Using config: /opt/mapr/zookeeper/zookeeper-3.3.2/conf/zoo.cfg
    Starting zookeeper ... STARTED
    # /etc/init.d/mapr-warden start
    Starting WARDEN, logging to /opt/mapr/logs/warden.log
    For diagnostics look at /opt/mapr/logs/ log files: mfs.log, diskssetup.log, cldb.log, createsystemvolumes.log, warden.log
    # /opt/mapr/bin/maprcli acl edit -type cluster -user hadoop:fc
ERROR (10009) -  Couldn't connect to the CLDB service

Can someone provide hint for the CLDB error ?

Thanks
