Oozie Server shutdown with Connection refused message

As part of MapR6.0 environment set up on single node cluster, I have installed and configured oozie server with mysql server on the same node.  Server shutsdown automatically as soon it starts (either from CLI or from MCS). I don't see any error messages  in any of the files from /opt/mapr/oozie/oozie-4.3.0/logs directory. When I issue CLI command to check the server status immediately after server start command, I get connection refused message.
