Following that docs for installing the mapr client tools in centos7 (Installing the MapR Client on CentOS, RedHat, Oracle Linux), running into a weird invalid user problem (have already done the necessary prerequisites (Installing the MapR Client)).

[root@mapr07 server]# /opt/mapr/server/configure.sh -N uceramapr.cluster.local -c -secure -C mapr001:7222,mapr004:7222,mapr003:7222 -HS mapr004

Done configuring Hadoop

External Zookeeper node list:
chown: invalid group: ‘root:mapr’

[root@mapr07 server]# id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root),984(sfcb) context=system_u:system_r:unconfined_service_t:s0

Is this saying that root on the client machine needs to be part of a group called mapr (and I assume that the gid of the mapr group on the client must be the same as the mapr group on the cluster)? Can I use another user (other than root) to run the configure.sh instead (ie. one that is propagated across the cluster and this client machine via LDAP)? Advice would be appreciated? Thank you.
