Is maprfs:///Hbase the volume that I have to mirror to replicate Hbase Data to another cluster ?
It depends a lot of what you are trying to achieve.
Yes you can mirror the volume to another cluster, this will give you read only access on the target.
If you want to have a multi master replication you should use MapR-DB Binary and use the MapR-DB Table replication as documented here:
* Table Replication
This is my favorite approach.
You can also if you are using Hbase use the Hbase replication:
Once again it depends of what you are trying to achieve.
Tug Grall Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunatly , we don't use MapR DB .
Mirroring the volume HBase, will give us the read only access in the target . So we can't use HBase in this cluster .
What we are trying to achieve, is to get HBase data from the cluster source , and read it by and have the possibility to write into it by HBase in the target cluster .
I'm thinking about mirroring the volume maprfs:///HBase and change the default path of HBase in the target so that we can write . My question : is indeed the volume maprfs:///HBase which I have to mirror to get HBase Data in the target cluster ? If yes, my proposition would achieve the objectif ?
