There is a "Sqoop2 Down Alarm" on one of my nodes. The issue is I have removed the sqoop service from the node and reconfigured the system. yet this alarm persists.
Thanks in advance.
The output shows that the service is uninstalled and the command to clear the alarm seems to be failing with an exception. Can you try the following command and upload the debug logs?
maprcli alarm clear -alarm sqoop2_down_alarm -cli.loglevel DEBUG
The log file with the debug will be available in /opt/mapr/logs/maprli-<username>-*.log
Have you tried to clear the alarm? alarm clear Also please post a screenshot of your mcs dashboard would be helpful.
Here are the screen shots : my attempt in clearing screenshots
Thanks. Could you also please attach the logs for diagnose too?
How was the sqoop2 service removed ? Can you still see sqoop2 listed in the output if you run 'maprcli node list -columns csvc' ?
Results of the command: maprcli node list -columns csvc
And the service was removed by:
1) Stopping the service -(It was already not working)
2) then removing from node - "apt-get remove mapr-sqoop2-server":
