Hello, I wonder if anyone experimented with Openshift managing PACC images, from build to deployment phases?
Currently checking MapR on premises to MapR Azure setup, while running Openshift in Azure for docker images management.
Well, just to comment myself , it works with reasonable effort.
Next possible step is to validate whether entire Gluster can be replaced with MapR-FS - NFS (and it very likely does)
It would be a nice idea to document the process and to create a blog page about this...
(I guess some people have their heads in the clouds ... ;-)
Yes, you can replace Gluster with MapRFS and NFS mounting.
That too would be worthy of a blog post.
Ok, so following setups could be described, MapR and OpenShift (when NFS is used and PACC handling):- both on premises
- both in the clouds :-)
- on-premises - in the cloud
I really wouldn't run NFS from on-premise to the cloud. Not really a good idea.
Hi Serguei Boldyrev,
Any progress you can share with the community?
Eventually going to proceed using MapR-FS for PV/PVC directly from K8S/Openshift.
