MapR-DB is a high performance, NoSQL (“Not Only SQL”) database management system, built into the MapR Converged Data Platform. MapR-DB is a global, multi-model database. It brings together operational applications, analytical applications, real-time streaming, and other workloads to enable next-generation, data-intensive applications.

Aditya Kishore


Aditya is a software engineer at MapR Technologies, where he works on MapR-DB, Apache Drill, Apache HBase, and Hadoop security. He has over twelve years of experience in product development, with expertise in multiple programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and scripting languages. Aditya holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from the National Institute of Technology in Trichy, India, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications from St. Xavier’s College in Ranchi, India.

Anurag Choudhary


Anurag has over 17 years of experience in designing, developing, and releasing enterprise class 
software. These include databases, filesystems, and other distributed systems. Prior to MapR, he worked in data storage companies, Veritas software (now Symantec) and Microsoft. He holds a Master's degree in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India. Apart from work, he enjoys playing chess and table tennis.
