what happens by setting secure=false in mapr mapr-clusters.conf file.
In MapR 5.2 and earlier, wire-level security is disabled by default (secure=false). If secure=true, then data transmission is encrypted between the nodes in your cluster and there are enhanced authentication procedures. With the enhanced authentication, users need to authenticate on the cluster using a MapR ticket (more information can be found here: Authenticating Users ).
Mirroring and security are independent of each other - however, for remote mirroring to work (that is, mirroring from one cluster to another), the security settings on both clusters must be the same.
