As I could observe OTSDB is creating mapr-db tables, but not visible in MCS. What should I do to see them in MCS? The behaviour is also same with tables created from hbase shell.
Login to MCS -> MapR Tables (Left hand pane) -> Enter the complete path where the table is created.
Hi Kiran VT,
It would be helpful to know which version of MapR, OpenTSDB and Hbase you are using. If you haven't done so yet, please check out Installing OpenTSDB with a Package.
Version is 5.2 enterprise, otsdb 2.x. We use mapr-db. installation is OK, grafana is showing all the graphs. But I am unable to check the regions and how much space it is taking from mapr-cli, or hbase shell or through MCS.
Are you on AsyncHBase version. AsyncHBase 1.6?
asynchbase-1.7.0-mapr-1607.jar is being used.
Please make sure you are on OpenTSDB 2.2.if you are AsyncHBase 1.7.
Be sure to install the OpenTSDB version that is required for your AsyncHBase version. AsyncHBase 1.6 requires OpenTSDB 2.0. AsyncHBase 1.7 requires OpenTSDB 2.2.
# Name of the HBase table where data points are stored, default is "tsdb"tsd.storage.hbase.data_table = /var/mapr/mapr.monitoring/tsdb
# Name of the HBase table where data points are stored, default is "tsdb"
tsd.storage.hbase.data_table = /var/mapr/mapr.monitoring/tsdb
Thanks, i found the details using maprcli, is there is any default path through which MCS will show us mapr-db tables???
Thank you very much, it helped me a lot .
