can we use veritas backup software to backup all the Mapr drive ? example /mapr/cluster.com/* ??
however i did try to backup, but not successful and got error
Hello WAI KIAT YIP. I have not personally used Veritas, but if it has the ability to backup normal Linux partitions then you could simply mount the MapR root-partition on any node from which you can backup just like how you'd do in the case of a native Linux filesystem.
If you the error you're describing is after implementing something like that, then please elaborate a little more on your setup so that I try and assist you further.
Hi Wai Kiat ,
