Yes. However, note that Kafka 0.9 and MapR Streams behave in a manner that you might not expect. For example, these actions will fail with an error message:
consumer.seekToBeginning(new TopicPartition(topic, 0));
iterator = consumer.poll(10).iterator();iterator.hasNext()
To fix the issue, you must execute poll() before any seeking on the topic. This causes the subscription request to be evaluated.
