How to run all services @CLI in MapR as we can able to run in Cloudera like " ./bin/cloudera-manager --enterprise --force "
Is there any way, we can run in MapR as well?
As Datta Sri Mufeed Usman mentioned, all nodes services will be managed by warden
Warden is a light Java application that runs on all the nodes in a cluster and coordinates cluster services. Warden’s job on each node is to start, stop, or restart the appropriate services, and allocate the correct amount of memory to them. Warden makes extensive use of the znode abstraction discussed in the ZooKeeper section of this Guide to monitor the state of cluster services.
Note: Without zookeeper warden will not work
Additional to that, Cloudera Manager is just a tool that will gives us good GUI to modify, start, restart services, etc. It will not take care of Hadoop Ecosystem components state (It gives information on services state). Whereas warden will take of all Hadoop ecosystem components state.
it must be thru warden
Venkateswara Rao Anampudi Just adding more clarity to Datta Sri's response - are you looking for,
service mapr-warden start|stop|restart? That would manage all the services on the particular node from where it is run from.
Just wanted to clarify on,
The above should not be misread as - a ZooKeeper is mandatory on all the nodes with Warden. ZK quorum is definitely needed before the Warden can carry out its co-ordination tasks on the respective nodes.
Got it, thanks all
Most welcome Venkateswara Rao Anampudi.
