Does Mapr-db have limitations on data size, e.g. could I store 20TB of data with Mapr-DB?
MapR-DB is an infinitely scalable NoSQL database where a single table can span over 1000s of nodes allowing you to store petabytes of data.
Please see this whiteboard walkthrough video by one of our engineers which explains this in more detail.
While there are no real hard limits, there is going to be a practical limit of HBase and MapRDB.
What that limit is... will depend on what you are storing, and how you are accessing it.
MapRDB has less issues than HBase and both can go over the 1PB limit which is much larger than your 20TB mark.
