Truncate table on a replicated MaprDB Table

When performing a truncate on a MapRDB table that has Master-Slave replication, I'm facing the following unwanted side effects: (Truncating in the Master cluster)

  1. The replication for the table stops.
  2. The permissions in the table disappear.
  3. The deleted/erased records don't get propagated to the slave table.

I understand that this might be the expected behavior because the table is disabled and re-created, in this case, my question is, what is the most performant way to clear all the records on a table without losing the replication and the permissions?

Thanks a lot!
