I am trying to know if Mapr supports Apache Ignite?
There are two parts to the answer of your question...
1) Can you run Apache Ignite over a MapR cluster?
2) Does MapR offer a support contract and support the use of ignite.
Lets start with the easy one... #2) It doesn't appear that MapR does support ignite. Meaning that if we look at their distribution, ignite isn't part of their supported offering. (Since I don't work for MapR, I could be wrong. ;-)
But with respect to #1, yes you could run ignite on a MapR cluster. Based on a first blush glance at their website... there is no reason why you couldn't drop it on the servers and have it up and running.
There doesn't seem to be anyone offering commercial support and it seems to be at odds with alternative solutions.
I had second-hand contact with somebody running Ignite on a non-MapR cluster. Features were fun, but stability was really bad.
This is now a third-hand anecdote so you need to take it with a big grain of salt.
