MapR M3 Install failures

Long story short... installing M3 on a single node Centos 7 server.

Running in to issues, will track them here and hope someone from MapR will add comments and suggestions.

System : Intel NUC i7

OS: Centos 7

32GB memory,

2 M.2 SSDs 1TB in size.

(This was a quick build to replace the original server that died after 9 years)

Running SELinux (This may be a mistake)

Since this is live on a network, only a handful of user ids can ssh and root can not ssh.

Following the instructions on MapR website.

Problem 1: mapr-setup.sh fails to correctly identify the name of the server.

This happens in the script where the hostname -A returns <domain>.com before <machine>.<domain>.com

Solution 1: Edit script, comment out this check, which falls to the fqdn check that returns <machine>.<domain>.com

Problem 2: Script dies later on...

It seems to check and see that I installed the mapr-installer and its there, however it then dies.

In prior setups I think I solved this by removing the mapr packages completely and then reran the installer.

I will try this and see if it works.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Note:  I know I'm not the only one where things go wrong and there are a lot of variables that impact the installation.
