We are using an M7 Enterprise MapR cluster on the CentOS 6.7 minimal nodes.
So I have a question: Can we install Drill Explorer in our MapR cluster?
Thanks a lot.
Yes, you can use Drill explorer on MapR cluster. Drill explorer is not a separate product, this is something you would automatically get by installing Drill ODBC driver. Hope that helps.
Here's a quick demo from the MapR website on using Drill Explorer with MapR: Latest Videos | MapR
Our free on-demand course, DA 410: Apache Drill Essentials, also includes some information in Lesson 1 on using Drill Explorer.
Thanks for your replies.
So that means Drill Explorer could be installed in some client machine outside our MapR cluster.
As we can see here:

Am I correct?
