Hi,

I am trying to Configure User Impersonation with Hive Authorization.

We are trying to implement “SQL Standard Based Authorization”. For this approach we refered  https://drill.apache.org/docs/configuring-user-impersonation-with-hive-authorization/

We are getting below errors after the setup.

- if i execute use database1; in hive it gives below message.

FAILED: RuntimeException org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.security.authorization.plugin.HiveAuthzPluginException: SQL standards based authorization should not be enabled from hive cliInstead the use of storage based authorization in hive metastore is reccomended. Set hive.security.authorization.enabled=false to disable authz within cli

-if i try to execute select statement as shown it through the below error.

Please let me know if i am missing some configuration. I have restarted the drill bit on each node and the hive server2 after the configuration.

Thanks & Regards,

Sonali.
