I installed a MapR M3 5.0 Cluster at january. Now I changed the configuration of hue and the ecosystem components (hive, httpfs, yarn) for a multi tenancy usage with pam and ldap. (LDAP integrated in pam)
Everything works fine, but there is a behaviour which makes no sense at all.
I want to create the home directory of a user at the login in the hue interface. What happens is that hue sends an create/mkdir query by doAs at httpfs to create the desired /user/X folder. User X is in a group Y which is able to write at the /user folder.
GetGid failed, "could not get groupinfo for group"
When httpfs tries to create the folder I run into the issue, that httpfs requires a group which is named by the user. Wether LDAP nor the local System contains any group with the same name than the user itself.
So my question is, how to configure hue with pam and ldap correctly, to be able to create the directories by the hue webinterface?
Do I have to tell pam in any way to create local groups with the groupname which equals the username? Or is there a bug maybe in httpfs as a reason for this requirement?
