[disk list][1] refers to the [disk list table][2] for documentation, which documents the field names incorrectly. On my VM-based cluster, the actual field names are:

    curl -k -u mapr:mapr "https://host.com:8443/rest/disk/list?host=host.hp.com&system=1"
    {"timestamp":1374272431030,"status":"OK","total":3,"data":[{"hostname":"host.hp.com","diskname":"/dev/sda1","mount":"1","vendor":"VMware","modelnum":"Virtual_disk","firmwareversion":"1.0","totalspace":"512","usedspace":"76","availablespace":"436","fstype":"ext3","powerstatus":"running","status":"0"},<snip>]}

Per the documentation, there's also a field for disk-error messages ("err") and disk-failure time (ft). I am guessing that these appear only if a failure is present? If so, what will be the actual field names be?
