My company has MapR Hbase/Hadoop as a 9 node cluster.

I was writing code to put data into an HTable:

 1.  I have created the table in Hbase Shell:
 create 'myTable', 'message'

 2.  In my code, I have:

<1> Configuration hBaseConfiguration = HBaseConfiguration.create();

<2> hBaseConfiguration.set("hbase.zookeeper.quorum", hbaseZookeeperQuorum);

<3> hBaseConfiguration.set("", hbaseZookeeperClientPort);
<4> HTable hTable = new HTable(hBaseConfiguration, hbaseTableName);

<5> hTable.setAutoFlush(false);

The code hangs at line <4> and I think the problem is at

'mapr-hbase-dbclient' package is required to access MapRDB tables

Please help.

(The component versions are MapR hbase-0.94.5 and MapR hadoop-0.20.2)
