Following that docs for installing the mapr client tools in centos7 (Installing the MapR Client on CentOS, RedHat, Oracle Linux), running into a weird invalid user problem (have already done the necessary prerequisites (Installing the MapR Client)).

[root@mapr07 server]# /opt/mapr/server/ -N uceramapr.cluster.local -c -secure -C mapr001:7222,mapr004:7222,mapr003:7222 -HS mapr004

Done configuring Hadoop
CLDB node list: mapr001:7222,mapr003:7222,mapr004:7222

External Zookeeper node list:
chown: invalid group: ‘root:mapr’

[root@mapr07 server]# id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root),984(sfcb) context=system_u:system_r:unconfined_service_t:s0

Is this saying that root on the client machine needs to be part of a group called mapr (and I assume that the gid of the mapr group on the client must be the same as the mapr group on the cluster)? Can I use another user (other than root) to run the instead (ie. one that is propagated across the cluster and this client machine via LDAP)? Advice would be appreciated? Thank you.
