MapR Technologies, Inc. recently announced at Strata Data Conference and at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo two new partnerships with C3 IoT and DataScience.com.
C3 IoT and MapR are collaborating on new technology developments and go-to-market initiatives that enable rapid deployment of mission-critical, secure, intelligent applications for commercial and public sector use cases, including real-time fraud detection, cyber and physical security, and predictive maintenance across industries such as healthcare, insurance, and manufacturing. This new partnership will provide both faster time to value for joint customers as well as broader deployment options, allowing applications to leverage any combination of public cloud, private data center, and edge computing technologies. In addition, an end-to-end application leveraging the combined platforms from C3 IoT and MapR can aggregate data from numerous enterprise systems, internet data feeds, and large-scale sensor networks, and process data in real time with an AI/machine learning engine.
With our partnership with DataScience.com, data scientists can now collaborate to build and deploy models via a full-featured platform from DataScience.com and MapR that provides convenient access to a wide range of data science tools and notebooks, integrated directly with MapR. Tight integration between DataScience.com and MapR enables data scientists to leverage a pre-built Docker container, providing secure role-based access to real-time and historical data without requiring private copies, which greatly simplifies logistics. MapR makes it possible to power a new generation of big data applications with enterprise-grade security, reliability, and real-time performance.
