ABOUT THE EVENT
Zeppelin is a modern, extensible, web-based notebook that enables interactive data analytics. Zeppelin supports many more than 20 different backend systems such as Spark, Flink, JDBC, Cassandra, etc.
It aims to provide collaborative data analytics and visualization environment for general-purpose data processing and is currently in the Apache Incubator program.

- Zeppelin at Twitter - Prasad Wagle, Technical Lead in the Data Platform team - Twitter
Prasad will talk about how Zeppelin is used at Twitter, the development work they did before release and the features and enhancements they are working on to increase adoption.
- Data science life cycle with Zeppelin - Moon soo Lee / Alexander Bezzubov / Corbacho Anthony, PPMC and Committer of Apache Zeppelin project - NFLabs.
The Zeppelin committers from NFLabs will explain how Zeppelin helps your data science lifecycle with its web-based notebook and pluggable architecture. They will go through some interesting use case scenarios that show how Zeppelin can be used in each steps of the data science lifecycle. They will also discuss how its pluggable architecture helps Zeppelin integrate seamlessly into your environment .
Prasad is a Technical Lead in the Data Platform team at Twitter. He has been at Twitter for three years working on analytics data pipelines and data visualization tools. Previously, Prasad has held senior engineering positions at Yammer, Visa, Dealix (ADP), Good Technology and Sun Microsystems.
Moon soo Lee / Alexander Bezzubov / Corbacho Anthony/ Damien Corneau, PPMC and Committer of Apache Zeppelin project. Works at NFLabs where initially developed Zeppelin and donated to Apache Software Foundation.
