What is the smallest region size possible for a Mapr-DB region ?

Question:


The default region size for a table in Mapr-DB is 4096 MB. What is the smallest region size that it can be changed to ?

 

Answer

The smallest region size possible for a Mapr-DB region is 256 MB.
The command to change the region size is as below :

$ maprcli table edit -path <table path> -regionsizemb 256

Where <table path> is the full path to the table

The current value can be viewed using the command below  ( see parameter regionsizemb )
