What benefits do I get from becoming a contributor to the Meetups and Events space?

Contributors have added privileges in the Meetups and Events space, allowing them to create content such as free promotion of their events. By providing access to communicate to our visitors, we hope to help your upcoming events be successful.

 

Requirements

1) You must be a member in the community. Here is more information on how to:MapR Account and Privacy Settings for Converge Community Profile 

2) You must be an organizer of an existing Meetup group in www.meetup.com or another official group, such as a MapR user group.

 

Instructions on how to become a contributor of this space

1) Fill out the Registration form. You will be ask to provide a link to the Meetup, where your name must appear as one of the organizers to the group

2) Wait for the confirmation email that will arrive once you have been admitted as a contributor to the site. Once received, you can promote an event.
